Lumina (M8-, 300m) – a new route on Wildgall (3,273 m)
The story of Lumina spans from Simon Gietl’s solo first ascent in April 2025 to the first free ascent seven months later, completed together with Ines Papert. The new line follows the strikingly beautiful pillar on the northeast face of Wildgall (3,273 m) – one of the most serious and forbidding objectives in the entire Rieserferner Group.
