Created especially for IGNIS – the first Polish mission to the International Space Station – and as part of the European Space Agency’s Bonus Food project, these are the universe's first freeze-dried traditional pierogi with cabbage and mushrooms, based on a recipe by renowned Polish chef Mateusz Gessler. Made for astronauts, now available to everyone!
Sauerkraut seasoned with marjoram, bay leaf, allspice, and pepper, stewed with onions and mushrooms, then wrapped in soft dough, cooked, and freeze-dried – without any preservatives or chemical additives. Discover what authentic astronaut food tastes like and bring a piece of space into your earthly kitchen.
Tasting version: 1 dumpling per package. Brittle product. Cracks may occur as a natural result of freeze-drying. Shelf life: up to 1 year from the production date. Store in a tightly sealed package.
