Quite uncommon to be eating nettle powder, but nettles are an excellent source of different minerals and a great addition to sauces and smoothies. Nettles are known for their ability to clean the body, boost the immune system and many more. Check out our recipes for ideas on how to use LYO nettle powder.

In our pouches there are no artificial additives, no extra sugar, no palm oil and no preservatives!

Our powders are made from 100% natural ingredients, only fruits and veggies and some of them are growing on our own fields.

Recipes

For a fruit drink use 1-2 level tbsp of powder/s in 250 ml of water.

For a fruit smoothie use 2-3 heaped tbsp of powder/s in 250 ml of water.

Use agave syrup / honey / sugar to tase as required.

NETTLE-CUCUMBER-APPLE DRINK by Kieran Creeve*

INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp LYO nettle powder, 1/2 cucumber, 200 ml apple juice
METHOD
Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve cold.

GREEN DRINK

INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp LYO nettle powder, 1 tbsp LYO spinach powder, 1 tbsp LYO kale powder, 1/4 avocado, 1/2 apple, 250 ml natural yoghurt or kefir, 125 ml water, 2 slices of fresh pineapple.

METHOD

Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth.

GREEN VITAMIN DRINK

INGREDIENTS
1/2 tbsp LYO nettle powder, 1/2 tbsp LYO spinach powder, 250 ml apple juice, 1/4 tsp ginger, juice of 1/2 lime

METHOD

Mix all powders with ginger and lime juice into a paste. Add apple juice and shake/stir until smooth.
